Hardback Notebook: Ditchling Hound
Sewn properly and bound into a slim, light hardback notebook that opens completely flat. Covered in patterned paper printed for the Ditchling Museum of Art+Craft, a recreation of a pattern from their St. Dominic’s Press archive incorporating a version of Eric Gill’s famous hound motif. Eric Gill helped to establish the Guild of St Joseph and St Dominic, an artist’s colony espousing principles of communal life and self-sufficiency in Ditchling in 1921. The museum, housed in the old Ditchling village schoolhouse, holds a permanent collection of the outpourings of this very active community, which was only finally disbanded in 1989.

Pigeon Post x 6 Pack: Apothecary
Inspired by origami, Pigeon is a beautifully crafted combination of letter and envelope. John Morse-Brown came up with the idea of Pigeon after he fell out of love with social media. Six pre-folded letters per pack, that fold into their own envelope which can then be sealed with a stamp, will provide a deeply satisfying and more personal alternative to the always-on, instant-gratification tools we all use to communicate these days.
Pigeon's are a way of making letter writing fun, new, beautiful, and easy. The envelope is integral to the letter, and the space to write on is not too daunting. It's also the perfect size to hold a Polaroid photo, so you can slip in a selfie! The designs mean each Pigeon is a small object of beauty.
A letter holds its value, and that helps foster a genuine sense of connection that can sustain true friendship. Nothing digital can compare. If you don’t normally write letters, you’re in for an unexpected treat! A beautifully different way to show you're thinking of someone.
