Soda Crystals are a powerful, hardworking, multipurpose household staple for tougher cleaning jobs around the home. Made from 100% sodium carbonate, they dissolve in hot water to help cut through grease, freshen sinks and drains, clean ovens and hobs, and boost your usual laundry detergent by helping to soften hard water.
Especially useful on greasy pans, heavily soiled hard surfaces, plugholes and washing machines, Soda Crystals are a simple, effective option for everyday cleaning and odour control. They are also a great addition to the wash, helping detergents work more effectively in hard water and keeping laundry fresh.

Sustainability: Soda crystals are an exceptionally sustainable, eco-friendly cleaning choice because they are a naturally occurring mineral compound (sodium carbonate) that is fully biodegradable and leaves behind no harmful chemical residues without accumulating or harming aquatic life. Unlike conventional supermarket cleaners, they contain zero phosphates, enzymes, chlorine bleach, artificial colors, or synthetic fragrances. They are commonly manufactured using common salt and limestone via the Solvay process, avoiding petroleum-derived ingredients. One bag replaces a multitude of single-use plastic bottles, as they handle grease-cutting, laundry boosting, drain unblocking, and descaling. By acting as a powerful water softener, they help detergents work more efficiently and allow for effective lower-temperature washing.

Directions:
Kitchen surfaces, hobs and ovens
Dissolve 100g to 200g in 500ml hot water. Apply with a cloth or sponge, leave briefly on stubborn marks, then wipe clean. Dri-Pak recommends both regular and strong hot-water solutions for surfaces and ovens.
Greasy pans and oven trays
Dissolve 200g in 500ml hot water and leave to soak for a few hours or overnight before washing and rinsing well. TOP TIP: Nancy Birtwhistle recommends leaving your oven shelves overnight on the lawn and then wiping down in the morning.
Washing machine clean
Add 500g to the empty drum and run a hot wash cycle to help remove build-up and odours.
Laundry booster
Add 25g to 75g per wash depending on water hardness, or 2 tablespoons alongside your usual detergent to help soften water and support cleaning.
Sinks and drains
Pour a hot, strong solution down the plughole, or add around 100g to 150g, then flush through with hot water to help keep pipes clear and fresh. Dri-Pak recommends regular, hot solutions for sinks and plugholes to keep them grease-free and odour-free.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE ON ALUMINIUM. Store in a cool, dry place with the pouch sealed after use. Keep out of reach of children.
