Bicarbonate of soda replaces dozens of single-use plastic bottles and specialty chemical cleaners. It is safe for ecosystems and is used safely in water treatment and aquaculture because it leaves behind no persistent or toxic residues.

Directions:
Fabric softener
Add 1/4 glass of bicarbonate of soda and 3/4 glass of water to the rinse compartment of your washing machine. It can help soften fabrics and reduce odours.
Carpets, sofas and fabrics
Sprinkle lightly over the surface, rub in gently, leave for around 1 hour, then vacuum thoroughly.
Everyday cleaning
Mix with a little water to make a paste. Use on sinks, hobs, tiles, ovens and other hard surfaces, then wipe clean.
Metal polishing
Make a paste with water and apply to chrome, stainless steel, gold or silver. Leave briefly, rinse with warm water, then polish dry.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE ON ALUMINIUM. Do not use for washing silk or wool. Store in a cool, dry place with the pouch sealed after use and away from moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
