This is a great way to reduce buying more plastic (please reuse all your old plastic pots) and involve younger members of the family in gardening using torn off strips of old newspapers to make paper pots for seeds and small cuttings. Once established, the seedling or cutting can be planted out in its paper pot avoiding the disturbance of its roots. The paper pot will degrade naturally in the soil. A cost-effective and environmentally friendly way to grow your own plants from seed.
